Elizabeth A. Taylor is an Ohio property tax attorney and associate at SDG Legal. For more than 30 years, Beth has focused her practice on representing Ohio public boards of education in property tax matters, including valuation disputes, exemption issues, and tax appeals before Ohio boards and courts.
Property Tax Experience Overview
Beth has devoted the majority of her legal career to the representation of Ohio school districts and public entities in complex property tax matters. Her work centers on valuation complaints, exemption applications, and appeals before county boards of revision, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, and Ohio courts.
At SDG Legal, Beth prepares and files property tax complaints, exemption applications, draft pleadings and supporting documentation, and assists with litigation strategy. She also advises public entities on valuation issues and the taxation of real property throughout Ohio.

Since joining SDG Legal, Beth has authored articles addressing H.B. 126 and the Ohio property tax valuation complaint process.
Education
Beth earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College in 1988. She received her Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law in 1991.
More About Beth
Beth is an active member of the Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene, where she assists with outreach ministries and community programs. She has also served on the District Advisory Board for the Northeast Ohio District Church of the Nazarene and as a hospice volunteer for National Church Residences.
Outside the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, traveling, and visiting the beach. Her favorite days are those spent with her grandchildren.
