Steven R Gill, Esq. – Property Tax Attorney

A pre-eminent property tax attorney, Steve is the former National Director of Property Tax Services for Ernst & Young’s State and Local Tax Practice, and specializes in property tax matters throughout the United States. He has more than 25 years of experience handling property tax appeals and related matters for large national clients inclusive of national REITs and Fortune 500 companies. Steve’s experience has led to the successful representation of clients with complex legal issues related to the valuation of real and personal property for all types of commercial and residential properties. Steve’s more recent successes include the representation of a casino, airport mall and major hospital system. Steve is also experienced in the area of state tax exemptions for qualifying property.

When not assisting taxpayers, Steve enjoys biking, attending the theatre and spending time with his family.

Steve is a frequent speaker before the Annual Ohio Tax Conference and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation’s (IPT) National and Regional conferences. Steve has also authored numerous articles on the topic of real and personal property taxation for national and local publications.
